The truth is we have the power to make every health-full change our intuition brings our attention to. The KEY is to gradually make the change. Daily power walks are a simple way to enhance your fitness routine and own your power to manifest strength and health!
What is Power Walking?
Power walking is a style of walking performed at a steady energetic pace with exaggerated movement of the arms. It is highly recommended by thousands of doctors and hundreds of studies have shown its benefits. Speed walking is easier on your joints, since you hit the ground with less than half the force you do when you jog. So you’re less likely to experience burn out, soreness, or injury.
What Are The Health Benefits?
Incorporating regular exercise into your fitness regimen helps combat illness and disease. When done consistently, power walking can help balance cholesterol levels as well as decrease the likelihood of serious health issues.
“New research that took place at Appalachian State University in Boone, North Carolina, shows that exercise is perhaps the best way to keep the common cold at bay. Taking a moderately-paced walk for between 30 and 45 minutes daily was found to increase the amount of immune system cells that were present in the body. Power walking improves body conditioning, which provides better endurance for carrying out daily tasks. It also uses both upper and lower body strength resulting in stronger muscles and bones. This leads to a greater ability to do challenging tasks like lifting heavy objects.
It isn’t necessary to spend any money on a gym membership or special equipment in order to get in great shape. In fact, walking at a brisk pace of about 4mph can burn up to 345 calories! When you combine power walks with healthy eating and lifestyle choices you can maintain a healthy weight with grace and ease.
One of the best ways to manage stress is to go “take a walk.” Even a 15 minute walk a day can help center your concentration and focus. It is a very effective way to release tension and have some alone time. The endorphins released in the brain during exercise encourage a calm, cool, and collected state of mind. Removing yourself form the hectic pace of daily life can help you feel renewed and refreshed.

The wonderful thing about power walks is it benefits body, mind, soul, and spirit! I once heard that the messages of heaven are carried upon the molecules of Oxygen. So the more fresh air we breathe the more clear those messages of divine inspiration are! The outdoors is FULL of Oxygen especially near bodies of water (or even a sea salt bath). Everything living is charged with the breath of God and being in nature can recharge every part of our beings.
